Matias Peinado Greco is a talented Product Designer with over a decade of experience in the industry. With great visual skills and some superpowers, he has a unique ability to quickly learn new things and deliver designs just in time for saving the day. Matias is like Batman, going into the night to get the job done by himself, but he also partners up and works together like Robin to achieve objectives and results. Matias is a friendly designer, just like Spiderman. He is funny most of the time, but when things get serious, he swings around buildings or fiercely climbs walls to fight and reach a goal. Currently, he is working as a Senior User Interface Designer and Design System expert at News UK. In his past experiences, Matias worked as a UX/UI Designer and Lead Consultant at Knowledge Expert, where he was dedicated to maintaining Design Systems for external clients while supporting their UX team, championing visual collaboration best practices. Internally, he focused on helping to install and follow an Agile Design Process and growing the UX maturity within the company. At Nutmeg, Matias was a UX/UI Designer and part of an amazing team of incredible professionals and super friendly team players. He collaborated with UX designers and front-end engineers towards the maturity of the current Design System by creating reusable component libraries and documenting usage and guidelines. He extended the Design System to the Mobile App, working closely with iOS and Android developers. Matias was also the dedicated UX designer for the Mobile App, where he took part in several projects, including defining and applying new styles, creating the Dark Mode theme for both iOS and Android platforms, designing new journeys that enable users to start new investments directly and natively in the Mobile app, and leading the research, user testing, and prototyping of the new onboarding journey of the Mobile app. Matias holds a BSc in Computer Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. He is proficient in various technologies, including designer, product designer, UI, Mobile, Android, iOS, test, Research Scientist, and Frontend.
